Corner House
Mar Vista, CA
Additions to the front and back corners of a house on a corner lot. Two similarly shaped volumes were designed to attach to the corners of the existing house, each one defined by it’s program. The Japanese rituals for entry and bathing inspired the interiors, a new Genkan at the entry, and an exterior space for bathing.
